We’re excited to announce an all-new audio format for a weekly 30-minute broadcast, available any time on your phone, tablet, laptop or other device! This new program, Sentinel Watch, will feature a topic of current interest each week. The week’s new program begins airing on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Pacific time.
This week’s subject is Only patterns of good — you’re invited to tune in while you’re on your way to work, out running errands, or just enjoying a quiet time at home.
We get used to patterns of behaviour in our lives. Many of these are useful, like our daily routines — eating, sleeping, working. Some of them can be heartwarming, like spending quality time with friends and family, and finding quiet time for communion with God. But some patterns aren’t so positive. What about when our bodies repeat episodes of suffering and we start to expect it to reappear. This was the issue faced by the contributors to the next edition of Sentinel Watch, who describe their journeys to freedom from unwanted patterns of allergy and accident. Join us to discover “only patterns of good” on the next edition of Sentinel Watch , a weekly production of the Christian Science Sentinel.
The host of the new program is Tony Lobl, who has been writing and broadcasting on Christian Science for three decades. Beside written and recorded pieces regularly appearing in Christian Science publications he has also had pieces published by national and global news outlets and has been interviewed by radio stations and podcast producers on three continents. Tony found Christian Science in his early twenties and became a Christian Science practitioner in 2004. He and his wife Jenny live in London.
